Real Estate Closings

Real estate closings refer to the final stage in any real estate transaction. On the agreed closing date, the exchange of cheque and keys takes place, and the ownership of the property is now transferred to the buyer.

Often, closing instructions are already agreed by the seller and the buyer prior to the closing date. Real estate forms and real estate contracts have already been well prepared and read by both parties.

Real estate Colorado requires that on the closing date the seller signs and hand the deed over to the buyer and an official transfer of property takes place. The transaction will then be promptly recorded in the local land registry office.
